Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to contribute to our team at Vibra Healthcare.

Responsibilities:

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting patient samples and assisting with laboratory procedures under the supervision of a medical technologist. Your duties will include maintaining patient result records, laboratory documents, and log sheets, as well as making daily charges and charting results.

Required Skills:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required.

Additional Qualifications:

  • ASCP phlebotomy certification is preferred.
  • Documented training in all areas of the clinical laboratory is preferred.
  • Experience in a clinical laboratory, hospital, or critical care setting for a minimum of one year is preferred.
  • Ability to work with laboratory instrumentation with minimal supervision is preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
