About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammograms and breast biopsies under the supervision of the mammography quality program manager and mammography supervisor, adhering to ACR and FDA guidelines.
  • Conduct mammography and other related breast imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Assess patient needs and provide personalized care, documenting patient history and assessment.
  • Collaborate with physicians to perform image-guided diagnostic and invasive procedures, such as stereotactic biopsy and needle localization.
  • Perform and document equipment quality control, recognizing and reporting any malfunctions or variations to the mammography manager.
  • Participate in the continuous quality improvement process, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Three years of total mammography experience, including one year of experience with breast biopsy procedures.
  • Associates degree or accredited hospital-based radiology program.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Mammography Technologist.
