Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Assist in the preparation and presentation of meals to our residents, adhering to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines.
  • Food Handling and Storage: Handle and store all food according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines.
  • Assist with Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation as assigned by supervisor, including preparing food items according to standardized recipes.
  • Set-up and Delivery: Assist with the set-up of the food tray line and assemble diet trays for delivery to dining areas or units.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean dishes, utensils, and equipment according to facility procedures and assist in the dishwashing operation and cleaning tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Experience: One year of experience as a food service aide in an institutional food service setting preferred.
