Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including clinic follow-ups and consultations, under the supervision of a physician.
  • Collaborate with physicians, local healthcare facilities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans, taking into account individual patient needs and goals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to the improvement of patient outcomes and services.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant educational program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant.
  • Two years of experience in an orthopedic office setting.
  • Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA).
  • Current DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and First Assist certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
