Dedicated Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to provide exceptional direct and indirect patient care within our clinical areas under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
About This Role:
This is a critical position that involves providing one-on-one observation of selected patients for maintaining patient safety, while also ensuring quality care and developing plans of care in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with nursing care of patients by implementing individualized care plans and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supply inventory records, identifying any deficiencies or discrepancies and reporting them promptly to management.
- Promote open communication and collaboration among team members, including nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing educational programs and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in patient care, as well as adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices related to patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant in Louisiana is mandatory for this role.
- The ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, and lift occasional weights is essential for this position.
Compensation Package: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, offering a competitive salary and benefits package that reflects the value we place on our employees' hard work and dedication.
