Nursing Manager Medical Oncology Center Full Time Days

Desert Regional Medical Center is a leading healthcare provider in the region, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Manager to join our team in the Medical Oncology Center. As a Nursing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective nursing practices and policies to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and services.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring the efficient use of resources and achieving financial targets.
- Current CA RN License
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Oncology background
- Ambulatory care background
- Management/leadership skills
- Teaching/education skills
- Public speaking experience and adequate writing skills
- 3 Years experience in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of hospital operations, rules and regulations
- Business and Program development
- Physician relations and physician recruiting
- Healthcare management
- Customer service
- CQI-(working knowledge and understanding of this function
- Staff development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mediate and diffuse conflict

Full-time position, days only
Compensation:$116,480 - $187,200 per year, depending on experience
