Job Summary:

A Senior/Staff Facilities Engineer is a key member of the Bosch Group's multidisciplinary engineering team, responsible for the physical infrastructure of our industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure seamless start-up and installation of new equipment at our facilities.
  • Develop and prepare designs, layouts, drawings, and bills of material for major maintenance, facility improvements, and other projects.
  • Modify existing equipment and systems to improve efficiency, safety, reliability, capacity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot problems with facility systems and develop corrective action proposals and recommendations.
  • Provide standard operating procedures and specifications governing the operation and maintenance of facility systems and equipment.
  • Develop installation packages for the hook-up, demolition, or relocation of production equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, statutes, and codes, securing all required permits, and coordinating with appropriate local authorities.
  • Initiate and implement continuous improvement programs using metrics and reporting systems.
  • Train facilities mechanics as needed on systems to improve 24x7 response time.
