- Patient Care Coordination: Coordinate patient flow, manage schedules, and ensure timely completion of tasks to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance, including data entry, phone coverage, and other tasks as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a medical assistant in an orthopedic or related setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other clinical software.
This position operates in a clinical environment, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced setting with frequent interruptions. The employee must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
