Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team at Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and be licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care addressing mental health conditions to individuals and families.
  • Work with a multi-cultural population of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and ages in a multi-disciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Perform clinical services including initial intake, assessments, brief therapy, crisis evaluation, phone triage, and referrals to appropriate services.
  • Interview and evaluate patients for psychosocial, emotional, and developmental needs.
  • Complete clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
  • Excellent assessment skills, self-direction, efficiency, and effectiveness in problem-solving.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and objectives, strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally, proficiency with computer use.
  • Current CPR certification.
