Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Trials Manager to join our team at Emory University. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial, regulatory, patient management, and human resources functions associated with conducting clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the financial aspects of clinical trials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Institutional Review Board (IRB) regulations.
  • Oversee patient management, including recruitment, enrollment, and retention.
  • Lead the human resources functions, including staff supervision, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development strategies.
  • Assist residents in preparing research projects, including facilitating IRB submissions and protocol writing.
  • Prepare and submit NIH proposals, and route them through the system.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for clinical trials.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • At least 8 years of experience in clinical trials, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Master's degree and 4 years of experience in clinical trials, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role, may be considered equivalent.
