Operations Analyst - Financial Services Expert

Location: Fort Worth, TX | Hybrid

Overview

SS&C Technologies Holdings is a leading provider of financial services solutions. We are seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join our Managed Services team.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience.

Job Description

As an Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for providing daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual operational support to our Managed Services clients. This includes inputting and maintaining financial and accounting data in InnoTrust, interacting with team members on daily processes, and adhering to procedures for processes within Managed Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Data Management: Input and maintain financial and accounting data in InnoTrust per the responsibilities defined for the Managed Service Client.
  • Team Collaboration: Interact on daily processes amongst the team.
  • Process Adherence: Adhere to daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual procedures for processes within Managed Services.
  • Financial Transactions: Ensure that financial transactions are balanced and documented according to policies and procedures.
  • Cash and Security Processing: Processing of cash and security activity, including trade settlement, corporate actions, cash movement, and shadow posting.
  • Meeting Deadlines: Meet daily deadlines for processing and reconciliation.
  • Client Interaction: Interact on operational activity with each Client.
  • Issue Resolution:
  • Client Support: Research, document, and handle client reported issues, provide user support to Clients and log Clients requests for services as needed to a timely resolution.
  • Relationship Building: Build, maintain, and foster positive and growing relationship with Clients.
  • Collaboration with Client Relationship Team: Work closely with Client Relationship Team to understand issues and assist in resolution.
  • Focus on Accuracy and Timeliness: Demonstrate relentless focus on accurate and timely processing.
  • Client Needs: Understand Client issues and concerns and escalate as appropriate.
  • Relationship Building: Build, maintain, and foster positive and growing relationships with all departments of SS&C | Innovest, and with vendors.
  • Client Operational Needs: Demonstrate focus on client operational needs.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively and professionally.

Workflow Management

  • Work Management: Actively manage assigned work.
  • Issue Management: Actively manage issues for resolution or escalate as appropriate.
  • Workload Management: Actively manage workload to support teammates.

Requirements

  • Security Experience: Experience with security processing
  • Publicly Traded Securities Experience: Experience and understanding of publicly traded securities
  • Cash Processing Experience: Experience with cash processing
  • Funds Movement Experience: Experience and understanding of funds movement processes and deadlines
  • Trust Operations Experience: Understanding of Trust Operations, Financial Markets, Securities Industry, Retirement Industry, Charitable Giving, and Banking (preferred).
  • InnoTrust Experience: Experience using InnoTrust in a Managed Services capacity (preferred).
  • Black Diamond Experience: Experience with Black Diamond (preferred).
  • Advent ACD Experience: Experience with Advent ACD (preferred).
  • Shadow Posting Experience: Experience with shadow posting (preferred).
  • SQL Knowledge: SQL knowledge (preferred)
