At Equinox, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Director to lead our Personal Training team as an hourly Personal Training Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the fitness industry and eager to make a significant impact.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic individual who can administer fitness evaluations, orientations, stretching, and personal training sessions while establishing and maintaining a strong client base according to company standards. The successful candidate will also be responsible for updating and maintaining our Personal Training App, instructing members on proper equipment use, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer comprehensive fitness evaluations, orientations, and personal training sessions to meet client needs
  • Maintain a robust client base through effective relationship-building and retention strategies
  • Manage and update our Personal Training App to ensure seamless functionality and user experience
  • Instruct and demonstrate proper use of equipment and exercise techniques to members
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to every member and potential client
  • Operate and adjust all fitness equipment with ease and efficiency
  • Attend meetings and participate in departmental discussions to drive growth and excellence
Requirements
  • Possess current nationally recognized Personal Training certification
  • Candidates with 1-3 years of previous Personal Training experience preferred
  • Must have passion, ambition, drive, and extensive knowledge of the fitness industry
  • Excel in time management, organizational skills, and follow-up initiatives
  • Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, computer literacy, energy, and friendliness
