Emergency Department Nurse

The Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care plan of patients. This includes ensuring continuity of care between shifts by providing direct care and supervising Nursing Assistants and supportive staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans
Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Supervise and mentor Nursing Assistants and supportive staff members
Population Served:
Patients with emergent, urgent, semi-urgent, and non-urgent conditions of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, are served within the Emergency Department.
Requirements:
Current RN licensure in the state of Louisiana
BLS certification
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
