This clinical fellowship is designed to provide emergency medicine junior faculty with advanced training in resuscitation medicine, focusing on critical care in the ED and pre-hospital setting. Participants will be prepared to pursue clinical, academic, and/or research careers in ED critical care.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Rotating through Trauma and NeuroTrauma ICU at STC, CCM, NCCU, and ED Critical Care">
  • Functioning as EM faculty seeing patients independently, supervising residents, and medical students in the Emergency Department">
  • Working under the supervision of CCM attendings, assisting with patient care, and resident education in the ICU">

Qualifications:

">

To be eligible for this program, candidates must have an MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent), completion of an Emergency Medicine Residency, Board Certification/Eligibility in Emergency Medicine, and Eligibility for New York State License. A graduate of a certified US Emergency Medicine ACGME program is required, along with at least two months of critical care training experience.

Training Experience:

Candidates should demonstrate an interest in ED Critical Care and Resuscitation through research, teaching, and/or quality improvement projects. This fellowship program aims to develop experts in critical care who can lead in clinical, educational, and research settings.
