Job Summary:
The Willingboro School District is seeking a highly qualified Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant to join our team. As a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting students with learning disabilities and providing them with the necessary tools to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with learning disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers to provide support and accommodations for students with learning disabilities
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with learning disabilities
- Assess and evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Appropriate Standard New Jersey Certificate as Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDT/C) and NJ Teaching Certificate(s), if applicable
- Three years teaching experience
- Autism/ABA, Life Skills (MD), ED/BD experience helpful
- Required criminal history background check, physical and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
