Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Instructor - Staff Education. As a key member of our hospital's education team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our nursing staff receives the highest quality education and training to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with in-service programs, orientation, and skills training for nurses and other staff members in all clinical areas.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to staff and management as a resource person.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the hospital orientation team to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Work closely with the employee health nurse to provide education and support on employee health-related topics.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kentucky or a multistate compact status.
  • Minimum of three years of current clinical experience, with a preference for experience as a Clinical Instructor.
  • Certification as an instructor with the American Heart Association in BLS, PALS, and/or ACLS.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
