Job Title: Veterinary Practice Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to join our team at Hometown Veterinary Partners. As a key member of our hospital team, you will play a vital role in supporting our core values of Culture, Collaboration, and Community.

Job Summary:

The Veterinary Practice Manager will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and providing technical functions within the hospital. This includes veterinary hospital administration, operational planning, staff training, supply management, staffing, safety and security, and sustainability of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a positive, supportive, and collaborative work environment.
  • Proficient in interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to support an inclusive environment.
  • Hire, retain, train, and develop medical staff.
  • Onboard new team members.
  • Train hospital teams on workflows and systems.
  • Implement customer retention and engagement strategies and tactics.
  • Provide a positive and exceptional client experience.
  • Give input, ideas, and suggestions for continual improvement of the practice environment for the care team, patients, and pet parents.
  • Guide and utilize exceptional support staff.
  • Familiarity with quality, safety, and health initiatives.
  • Ensure all licenses are up to date, and in accordance with state or federal guidelines.
  • Ensure the medical staff and facility comply with federal rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience in any industry.
  • 3-5 years of veterinary experience.
