This role is responsible for the centralized leadership and operations of all perioperative and procedural areas, including operating rooms, post-anesthesia care units, pre-operative areas, endoscopy suites, sterile processing, interventional radiology, and ambulatory surgery center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic planning and operations management
  • Financial management and budget oversight
  • Quality initiatives and regulatory compliance
  • System integration and collaboration with senior leadership
  • Fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration or similar field
  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible healthcare management, financial management, and administrative/operational experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in a leadership role at a Magnet Designated hospital and academic medical center
  • Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
Preferred Qualifications
  • DNP or PhD
  • Certification in nursing administration (NE-BC, NEA-BC, CENP)
  • Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM)
  • Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)
  • Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN)

  • Certified Ambulatory Surgery Nurse (CNAMB)
