About the Job

Jax Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a highly skilled Procedure Tech Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our back office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and maintaining continuity of care through accurate and thorough documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain all aspects of the clinic environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Measure and record vital signs, manually and electronically.
  • Administer IM injections and provide patient education through written and oral communication.
  • Assist physicians, physicians' assistants, nurses, and other care providers during assessments, examinations, procedures, and other patient interactions.
  • Document orders, generate prescriptions, and communicate with internal and external departments to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • One or more years of experience as a medical assistant, CMA preferred.
  • Procedure Room Tech experience preferred.
  • Able to read, analyze, interpret, and write medical records and documentation.
  • Able to record patient information, including a working knowledge of medical terminology.
