Key Responsibilities
  • Install commercial overhead doors in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with other installers to complete installation projects efficiently.
  • Responsible for the installation of more complex and technically advanced architectural grade products.
  • Follow manufacturer direction and warranty requirements for product installation.
  • Track time and materials for each installation project.
  • Maintain all equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions to the field supervisor.
  • Train entry-level technicians on proper installation techniques and methods.
  • Provide quality customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Attend training sessions to learn new technologies and installation methods.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Some installation experience preferred.
  • Ability to climb ladders and use scissor lifts.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to read and use measuring tapes, levels, and other required tools for installation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous knowledge of welding preferred.
Work Environment

This position requires frequent heavy lifting, standing, kneeling, and reaching. May require driving to project sites and exposure to variable weather conditions.
