Electrical Specialist

The Electrician Journeyman performs duties in one or more electrical specialties at a journeyman level, including installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.

This role requires strong electrical knowledge and skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Electrician Journeyman will be responsible for:

• Installing and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Performing troubleshooting and repair work on electrical systems
• Providing guidance and instruction to electrical helpers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Electrician Journeyman must have:

• Completion of an apprenticeship program
• Active Wyoming Electrical Journeyman License
• Strong electrical knowledge and skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Environment

The Electrician Journeyman will work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and other hazards.

The physical demands of this role include:

• Manual dexterity for operating hand tools and electric tools
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Extensive standing and walking on uneven terrain
• Frequent climbing stairs/ladders, bending, stooping, crawling, kneeling, reaching, and crouching
