Job Description

Job Title: Military Concepts Operations Planner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Military Concepts Operations Planner to join our team at ProRec Resource Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to the Joint Concepts Branch (JCB) in developing and implementing strategic operations plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Army and Joint operations at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
  • Assess the applicability of proposed future concepts and develop such concepts on topics of emerging Army priorities.
  • Participate in events and meetings, including DoC and Joint Staff meetings, to provide expert-level support and guidance.
  • Write elements of Joint Concepts and Joint Supporting Concepts as required by the JCB Chief.
  • Organize and facilitate concept development working groups to drive solutions to complex and time-sensitive problems.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct conferences, meetings, workshops, and in-progress reviews in support of ongoing projects.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the concept development process and staffing procedures.
  • Write and edit reports using advanced desktop publishing software.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Exceptional oral presentation skills and the ability to work well in group settings.
  • Working knowledge of the capability-based assessment process and the military decision-making process (MDMP).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Access, and advanced desktop publishing software.
  • Clear understanding and knowledge of Army Concepts.
  • Secret Clearance.

Travel: 20-25% of the time.
