Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Palliative Care Team Member

We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Oncology Institute. As a key member of our Palliative Care Team, you will work closely with physician and APP specialists to provide specialty palliative care services to patients receiving medical, surgical, radiation, and gynecologic oncology care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage symptoms and alleviate distress for patients and their families
  • Facilitate advance care planning and direct conversations to foster a better understanding of treatment options and goals of care
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes

Requirements

  • Two years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in palliative care or hospice
  • Strong experience in oncology or a related field
