PCB Ecad Librarian

Arista Networks, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled PCB Ecad Librarian to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our ECAD library, ensuring that our designs meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

• Create and maintain ECAD library components, including schematic symbols and layout footprints
• Work with engineers to create and approve new components, validating accuracy and compliance with company standards
• Manage and maintain the library of components used in our Schematics and PCB designs
• Update standards, requirements, and procedures to drive a best-in-class ECAD library

• 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining an ECAD library
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a drive to produce quality work
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with others
• Experience with Cadence PCB/CAD tools, including Allegro, Orcad Capture, Concept HDL, and System Capture
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes

• Experience with Cadence ADM, EDM, and Pulse
• Experience with PCB layout and routing
• Experience with Valor or other CAM software tools
• Experience writing scripts to automate routine tasks associated with ECAD applications, databases, and libraries
• Experience working with PLM software (Agile preferred)

The new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of $90,000 to $133,000. Arista offers different pay ranges based on work location, so that we can offer consistent and competitive pay appropriate to the market. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location.
