PCB Ecad Librarian

Arista Networks is seeking a highly skilled PCB Ecad Librarian to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our ECAD library, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

• Create schematic symbols and layout footprints to meet Arista requirements and manufacturability standards
• Work with engineers to create and approve new components, validating the library parts for accuracy and compliance with company standards
• Manage and maintain the library of components used in our Schematics and PCB designs
• Update standards, requirements, and procedures, incorporating feedback to drive a best-in-class ECAD library

• 5+ years of experience creating/maintaining an ECAD library
• Experience with Cadence PCB/CAD tools, including Allegro, Orcad Capture, Concept HDL, and System Capture
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturer's datasheets and drawings
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a drive to produce quality work
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with others

• Experience with Cadence ADM, EDM, and Pulse
• Experience with PCB layout and routing
• Experience with Valor or other CAM software tools
• Experience writing scripts to automate routine tasks associated with ECAD applications, databases, and libraries
• Experience working with PLM software (Agile preferred)

The new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of $90,000 to $133,000. Arista offers different pay ranges based on work location, so that we can offer consistent and competitive pay appropriate to the market. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location.
