Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient exams and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited MRI program
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
  • Texas Medical Board License
  • BLS (American Red Cross) certification
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in MRI technology
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
