In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a business that has grown since 1912 into a leading concrete subcontractor, with our construction professionals building over 200 projects representing more than 20 million gross square feet each year. With your assistance, we aim to combine the resources of a large company with the spirit of a small one.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Estimating: Support the planning and estimating stage of projects to ensure the most efficient, safe, and economical form systems are incorporated into the project design.
- Formwork Layout and Instructions: Assist with the preparation of accurate formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field crews.
- Project Monitoring: Work closely with the project team to monitor the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve concerns regarding structural design with project team.
- Quantity Surveys and Estimates: Aid in the preparation of quantity surveys, formwork estimates, and project proposals.
- Material Coordination: Assist in the coordination of material purchases, deliveries, tracking, and forecasting, ensuring maximum utilization of our physical resources.
- Special Projects: Manage special projects and complete all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.
- In the process of obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree.
- Some knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM Modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to travel and work for an extended period of time on projects outside of our office area.
