Clubhouse Career Coordinator

The role of a Clubhouse Specialist at Jobs for Humanity is to develop and service employment relationships between clients and community employers, providing access to various employment opportunities. Key responsibilities include vocational guidance, job development, job placement, employer education, and customer relations.
This position involves working side-by-side with members, assisting them in building career readiness skills, social skills, health and wellness, and becoming more self-sufficient. Individuals with human services, direct care, job coaching, and career counseling experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and services employment relationships between clients and community employers
- Vocational guidance, job development, job placement, employer education, and customer relations
- Assists members in building career readiness skills, social skills, health and wellness, and becoming more self-sufficient
Requirements:
- High School/GED and 1 year of experience required, or an Associate's degree with 1 year of experience preferred
- Must serve as the Clubhouse Specialist and back-up driver
- Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and a reliable vehicle
- Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential
- Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices, and community organizations

Location: Holyoke, MA
Rate of Pay: $19.55 per hour; plus $60 bi-weekly stipend for being the back-up MART driver
Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year
