Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and oversee day-to-day operations of two sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality residential services.
  • Support individuals in developing their personal strengths and worth, encouraging self-advocacy and community involvement.
  • Work collaboratively with Direct Support Professionals to ensure individuals receive personalized support and care.
  • Supervise and evaluate Direct Support Professionals, providing guidance and coaching to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Participate in the development and review of individualized service plans, ensuring individuals meet their stated outcomes and goals.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED (now called TASC)
  • Two years' experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Exceptional written, communication, and computer skills
  • A valid NYS Driver's license or the ability to convert an out-of-state license within 90 days
  • Ability to be certified in all required trainings
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of supervisory experience
