Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and disease management.
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and achieve high-quality outcomes.
- Develop and implement care plans that address the unique needs of each patient, taking into account their medical history, lifestyle, and personal preferences.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote high-quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding and optimal care.
- MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar specialty.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar specialty.
- Current State Medical License or ability to obtain one.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current DEA number for schedule II-V controlled substances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Experience working in a primary care setting.
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.
- Ability to speak multiple languages, including English and Spanish.
