About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at HireIO Inc. As a key member of our international business division, you will play a crucial role in crafting solutions for our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with customers and partners to ensure successful solution delivery of Alibaba Cloud services and vertical data solutions.
  • Evangelize and educate customers and partners on the technical and business benefits of Alibaba Cloud services and vertical data solutions.
  • Provide technical cloud solutions and architecture designs based on Alibaba Cloud services and vertical data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a breadth of industry expertise and challenge the status quo to bring innovation and ideation within accounts.
  • Drive return on investment (ROI) for customers and partners while aligning to Alibaba's goals.
  • Engage with C-level executives to build solid business cases for vertical-based digital transformation.
  • Assist customers and partners in migrating their existing IT systems onto Alibaba Cloud.
  • Develop and test Alibaba Cloud services and vertical data solutions as needed.
  • Accumulate knowledge documentation such as universal cloud architecture templates, best practices, and cases for segmented fields/scenarios.
  • Provide presentations, evangelism, and empowerment training for sales teams and eco-partners.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience primarily in a client-facing role with a strong technical background in large-scale distributed architecture, cloud, cloud-native, big data, vertical-based digital transformation, AI/ML, etc.
  • Fully mobile with frequent visits to clients for meetings and workshops.
  • Ability to quickly grasp customer/partner strategic business objectives to articulate an engagement plan that addresses these objectives.
  • Ability to impact and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to drive business results.
  • Strong technical background with experience in technical consulting, development, and deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Native architecture: Container, Kubernetes, DevOps.
  • Proven consulting and technical background with in-depth, hands-on customer delivery experience in cloud computing.
  • Familiarity with major public cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S./B.A.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills, a good team player, and a professional attitude to work.
  • Able to work under high pressure, a quick learner with a passion for cloud technology.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills to create documentation expressing cloud architectures using text and diagrams.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English & Mandarin Chinese is a must.
  • Travel requirement: 20% - 40% travel.
  • Base pay range: $122,000/year - $208,000/year.
