Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the clinical care team to deliver high-quality patient care and optimize outcomes.

  • Act as a patient advocate to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
  • Perform routine medical procedures, including blood draws, specimen collection, and point-of-care tests.
  • Assist in vaccine administration, interview patients regarding medical concerns, and obtain medical history.
  • Measure and record vital signs, review physician orders, and communicate test results to patients as directed.
  • Assist with patient education, complete applicable forms and paperwork, and respond to patient phone calls.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Graduate of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • MA certification and prior experience in Endocrinology preferred.
  • Self-disciplined, energetic, passionate, and innovative individual with excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, react calmly in emergency situations, and interpret guidelines and procedures.
