Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy Specialist

Job Summary:
Fulfill patient care responsibilities as assigned, including checking schedules and organizing patient flow. Perform clerical duties such as sending/receiving patient medical records, obtaining lab/X-ray reports, and sharing problems with immediate supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up instruments and equipment according to department protocols.
- Clean exam/procedure rooms, instruments, and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control.
- Order, sort, and store supplies.
- Assist with clinical medical procedures, including medical/surgical asepsis, sterilization, and CLIA-waived testing.
- Perform electrocardiography, including mounting, emergency triage, and first aid.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and current documentation of an accredited Medical Assistant program or its equivalent.
- Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant.
- Current American Heart Association CPR certification and current health records with the appropriate immunizations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel.
