As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing lunch and dinner meals for all diets, including texture modifications, using proper sanitation principles and ensuring meals are timely, of proper temperature, and appealing to look at.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare meals for all diets, including texture modifications
  • Use proper sanitation principles and ensure meals are timely, of proper temperature, and appealing to look at
  • Complete all assignments, including prep work, prior to end of shift
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Active Approved ANSI accredited/Serv Safe certificate
  • Experience in food preparation and/or basic cooking in a Long-Term Care (Skilled Nursing Facility) required
  • Background check after Offer of Employment
