Job Summary

To excel as a Sales Associate at Barnes & Noble, you will provide exceptional customer service, prioritizing their needs and ensuring a welcoming shopping experience. You will share your product knowledge enthusiastically, both in-store and over the phone, to help customers find the perfect gift or solution. Your passion for customer service and willingness to help will make our customers look forward to visiting our store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a warm and inviting environment by engaging with customers and providing friendly, genuine service.
  • Use your product knowledge to make thoughtful recommendations and actively sell our products.
  • Support store visual merchandising and replenishment standards to maintain a neat, tidy, and shoppable store presentation.
  • Leverage key campaigns and services, such as new item launches and promotions, to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date on our products and services through training and communication tools, and share your knowledge with colleagues to provide excellent customer service.
  • Protect company assets by adhering to inventory and loss prevention standards.
