We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Rapides Regional Medical Center. As an Echo Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct echo procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring that all tests are valid, duplicated, and properly charged.
  • Perform patient testing with proficiency, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to adolescents, adults, and geriatric age groups.
  • Maintain test equipment with proper cleaning and supplies, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Evaluate the performance of equipment and make recommendations for maintenance and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain a good rapport and cooperative working relationship with physicians and their office staff.
  • Consistently complete echo procedures in an adequate amount of time, meeting or exceeding state goals related to job performance.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
