At Community Health Centers, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at our Family Dental Center in Elgin.

Salary: Competitive Compensation Package: $40,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Dental Assistant who will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive top-notch oral healthcare in a friendly and comfortable environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting experienced dentists and hygienists during various dental procedures
  • Providing excellent chairside support
  • Exposing and developing dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations and law as well as Dental Department directive and protocol
  • Maintaining a clean and sterilized dental operatory for patient treatment as per Dental Department protocols and the Dentist's directions

You will also interact closely with patients, making them feel at ease while assisting with any concerns they may have.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Dental Assistant Certification from an accredited program
  • X-Ray certification
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to patient care
