Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer III to join our team at Lennox International. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that drive year-over-year increases in safety and ergonomics, while maintaining the highest environmental quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor programs to drive continuous improvement in safety and ergonomics.
  • Design and develop facilities, work areas, and work procedures to ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance.
  • Develop methods to drive continuous improvement of HSE practices.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update environmental and policy and procedure manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and stay up-to-date on changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.
  • Provide work direction to others as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of related experience.
  • Proven success in driving continuous improvement in HSE.
  • Full knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and workers' compensation best practices.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation skills to senior executives.
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing training programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CSP or equivalent certification.
  • Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Experience using Apollo Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), or similar robust problem-solving tools.
