About The Role

In your role as a Head Chef at HC-One, you'll be responsible for leading the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our Residents. You'll oversee the kitchen operations, ensuring that every meal is a delight for the senses, with a focus on nutrition, cultural preferences, and special dietary requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the kitchen team to achieve high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs
  • Collaborate with central support teams to ensure compliance with nutrition standards and regulations
  • Monitor food stock, budget, and inventory to optimize kitchen efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with Residents, colleagues, and external partners to ensure seamless service

About You

We're looking for a Head Chef with a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences. You'll need:

A minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and an understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control PointsAn S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional CookeryExcellent leadership and communication skillsA creative approach to menu development and kitchen operationsA commitment to Resident wellbeing and satisfaction
