Key Responsibilities

Technical Duties Ensure field leadership and management of equipment maintenance and readiness to fulfill specific project requirements. Promote safety and quality performance through personal example and supervisory activities. Manage and monitor all facets of equipment costs, providing senior management with comprehensive equipment summary reports. Responsible for the training, development, coaching, and morale of both direct and indirect reports. Foster retention and engagement among team members while promoting cohesion within district, internal joint ventures, and external partnerships. Administrative Duties Generate equipment summary reports for senior management. Collaborate with colleagues on the job site. Execute additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers. Utilize company data systems to document and monitor equipment maintenance and usage.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field that provides the necessary knowledge and experience for this role. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical-related field is required. Familiarity with construction safety standards and current federal and provincial regulations. Comprehensive understanding of engineering and construction methodologies. Proficient in basic computer skills. Demonstrates integrity and ethical conduct in all situations; adheres to Kiewit’s ethics policy regarding compliance with established policies and practices. Strong organizational and time management abilities are essential. Willingness and enthusiasm for travel, sometimes with little notice. Must be a proactive self-starter with a strong commitment to completing tasks effectively.
