**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Medical Support Specialist. This role involves providing 1:1 care for a student in the Rochester City School District.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate nature, and the ability to work independently. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for transporting the student to and from school while ensuring their safety and well-being.

In addition to this primary responsibility, you will also follow a preset care plan for the student during transportation and as needed. This may include administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support.

Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the student on the school bus to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Follow preset care plan for student during transportation and as needed

Requirements:

  • School nursing experience is highly desirable
  • A valid LPN license in NYS is required
  • Reliable transportation to and from school is essential
  • CPR certification is mandatory

Compensation Package:

  • An estimated salary of $28 per hour is offered
