About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technician to join our team as a travel medical support specialist. As a surgical technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons during operations by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment
  • Clean and prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies before each procedure
  • Maintain accurate records of patient data, surgical procedures, and medical supplies
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operation of surgical teams
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of new surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices

Requirements:

  • Degree in Surgical Technology or related field
  • Current certification in Surgical Technology (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Technician in an acute care setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
