Position Overview
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable retail banking professional to fill the role of a full-time Personal Banker. This position involves working 37.5 hours per week and is focused on delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to our sales and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse range of customer transactions and services, ensuring clear communication of available products and gathering necessary information for account processing.
- Devote time to opening and maintaining customer accounts.
- Take ownership of customer inquiries and issues, ensuring effective follow-up for resolution and satisfaction.
- Possess a solid understanding of business services, mortgages, treasury management, and investment services; refer customers to the appropriate departments as needed.
- Utilize effective sales techniques to promote and cross-sell banking products and services, fostering strong customer relationships.
- Discuss and facilitate consumer loan products as necessary.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Online Banking services, identifying customers who may benefit from these offerings through consultation and education.
- Consistently deliver first-class customer service and demonstrate a genuine interest in building customer relationships.
- Contribute positively towards achieving branch goals related to deposits, loans, referrals, and other performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in banking or retail is preferred.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire for customer service and sales success.
- Excellent decision-making and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities; capable of multitasking.
- Demonstrated honesty and integrity in all interactions.
