Dawood Engineering Inc is seeking a skilled Highway Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the Manager of Highway Services and be responsible for a wide range of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Roadway Construction Plans and related deliverables
- Collaborate with Highway Designers and CAD Technicians to design and implement Roadway Design and Construction Plans
- Prepare Right-of-Way Plans, Cross Sections, and Utility Coordination documents
- Design and implement Pavement Design, Guiderail Design, Drainage Design, and Stormwater Management Design
- Develop E&S Plans, Traffic Control Plans, Signing and Pavement Marking Plans, and ADA Ramp Design and Reviews
- Prepare Highway Occupancy Permit Plans and Reviews, and Highway Lighting Design
Requirements
- Strong understanding of highway engineering principles and practices
- Four-year college degree (B.A., B.S., B.S.B.A., etc.)
- 0-4 years related experience and/or training
- Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
