Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Bradford Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our treatment programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing services to patients in a detoxification setting, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing venipuncture.
- Assess patient acuity and intervene accordingly, following physician's orders and protocols.
- Establish and maintain rapport with patients and their family members, providing education and support as needed.
- Transcribe physician orders, order medication, and be accountable for controlled medications.
- Participate in timely and accurate patient record documentation, including nursing assessments, treatment planning, and progress notes.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective treatment outcomes.
- Practice the Board of Nursing Standards of Practice and maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing, current State license (RN-preferred) (LPN acceptable).
- Two years of experience in chemical dependency treatment, with experience working with adults and adolescents preferred.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, see 20/40 corrected in each eye, and hear (hearing aid acceptable).
- Emotional and physical ability to function under stressful situations.
- Ability to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, managers, clients, and prospective clients.
