Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Operator II to join our team at Veolia North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal, and testing equipment in refinery/industrial facilities to purify water to meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal, and testing equipment to ensure efficient and effective water treatment processes.
  • Monitor and control equipment performance to meet or exceed processing and quality targets.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some experience in a related position and environment preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English (operational, process, safety, and quality instructions).
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
