About ReadyWork, a leading food manufacturing company, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products by implementing and maintaining our GMP/HACCP Food Safety Program.
Job Description
The Quality Assurance Specialist will assist the QA Manager in coordinating facility-wide programs, ensuring compliance with audit requirements, and maintaining accurate records. Key responsibilities include:
- Sampling and Documentation: Ensure proper sampling and documentation of product, CCP metal detectors, weight control, calibrating scales, moisture machine verification, and submitting samples.
- Log Verification: Verify all logs from processing are complete and report any discrepancies.
- GMP Compliance Audits: Assist in conducting GMP compliance audits and inspections.
- Pre-op Inspection: Perform pre-op inspection and documentation, follow up on corrective action.
- Monthly Glass Audit: Conduct monthly glass audit for Famoso and Kyte reports to QA Manager.
Requirements
To be successful as a Quality Assurance Specialist, you must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team. In addition, you must be able to understand and properly fill out daily documentation and conduct monitoring procedures stated out in HACCP and food safety manuals. The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
