Nurse Coordinator Lead

RN/Registered Nurse - Pre/Post Unit Coordinator/Charge Nurse at The University of Kansas Health System.
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Coordinator Lead to oversee patient care assignments, manage throughput, and staff to matrix. As a key member of our team, you will respond to patient and staff needs, ensuring seamless operations within the unit.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care Coordination: Manage patient care assignments according to clinical needs, ensuring timely and effective care delivery.
- Staff Management: Assign tasks, supervise, and provide ongoing feedback to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient unit operations.
- Performance Improvement: Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and Human Resources to develop and implement performance improvement initiatives, driving positive outcomes and enhancing patient satisfaction.
- Education and Development: Assist with hiring, education, and performance evaluation of nursing staff, promoting growth and development within the team.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Graduate or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a similar role.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (LRN) in the State of Kansas, Basic Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
