Job Title: Operating Room Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

* Implement and monitor patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
* Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
* Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
* Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
* Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team

Requirements:

* BLS and ACLS certification
* National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
* Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Strong technical skills
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Passionate about patient care
* Minimum of two years of current RN Operating Room experience
* Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
* Active unencumbered RN Kansas state license
* One year of Epic experience
* Circulating and scrub RN experience required

* Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
* Participates in relevant continuing education programs
* Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
* Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
* Can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital
* Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks
