Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Onsite Network Engineer to provide high-quality support services to our clients in the Washington DC metropolitan area. As an Onsite Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of client environments and addressing escalated issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite support services to clients via regular scheduled proactive visits
  • Ensure the smooth operation of client environments and address escalated issues
  • Work closely with clients to ensure their network infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently
  • Contribute to project teams for clients and others, designing and implementing solutions that enable clients to meet their business objectives
  • Participate in a regular On Call rotation, providing emergency support to clients outside of normal business hours
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of customer service practices and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to translate technical issues to non-technical people
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills
  • Demonstrated in-depth experience deploying, supporting, maintaining, and administering Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating systems, Microsoft Windows Server products, Hypervisor technologies, Microsoft Azure Cloud based services, and Microsoft collaboration and productivity tools
  • Practical experience in networking support, including firewalls, switches, routers, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to and experience supporting Linux based operating systems
  • Experience with Device Management software
  • CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA)
